I know it is way late, but here goes:

Oni-Con was a blast this year. My group consisted of Bubba, Willie McMichaels, Hac, Hooker, and myself.

Instead of being held at the usual George R. Brown Convention Center/Hilton hotel, it was held at the Marriott Westchase, a smaller venue, but not a terrible one.

One of my favorite things about the venue was the layout of the rooms. The rooms them selves were bad ass, very comfortable, easy enough for five dudes to sleep in. [link]
The coolest part of the rooms was that if you were lucky (like we were) you got a room with a window facing INTO the hotel, that faced other rooms.

This created limitless possibilities for fun things to do with our 'neighbors', and we actually made several new friends using this method.

Our room, 711 (which in itself was bad ass) quickly became the hub for several parties and gatherings of large groups of people. It's hard to say, but I think we might have even outdone the parties we had at A-kon this year.

I guess it was just due to the size of the venue itself, but Oni-con felt especially large this year, unfortunately I did not see very many eye catching cosplays. I'm not sure if it was just not a whole lot of people were cosplaying, or I just wasn't looking in the right places, but there were only a few cosplays that caught my eye.

In other news, Green Maple Studios has started filming again, releasing two new skits [link] and [link]

They're short and sweet, but it's the first new material we've released in a long while. We have plans for even more videos so keep an eye out for those. Make sure you subscribe, rate, and comment, and most importantly, spread the word of us.

I have big plans for A-kon, we're planning on getting a big room and partying hard, but we also have big plans for cosplay. (here's a hint, look at my recent favorites)

That's right, I'm setting out to make my own big daddy costume, and we're planning on having several people dress up as splicers to accompany me, so keep an eye out for us at A-kon!
